Imagine your childhood cartoon heroes come to life in Halloween costume form! Well, the designers over at NECA Toys are doing just that, with a new batch of Ben Cooper Costume Kids figures set to hit in late 2026 or early 2027. This time the lineup includes stalwarts of 80s cartoon characters! The lineup includes Sgt. Slaughter and an Infantry Grunt from G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, Optimus Prime and Megatron from Transformers, and Matt Trakker from M.A.S.K.! I believe that all of these characters had Halloween costumes from back in the 80s. I love the way NECA has designed these figures to look like those vintage costumes, and the likenesses of the characters are pretty spot on too! But, the small little detail that I’m really liking from these figures, are that the trick or treat bags are made to be pillowcases of the various cartoons! It’s the little things like that, which make these figures so collectible!
